I’m having some trouble figuring out how to turn a photo into sound using max msp. It seems like I have to use some kind of data from a photo or use my computer camera. So far I’ve found a lot of different how-to videos on similar things to what I want to do, but not exactly right yet.

This dialogue makes it seem like you just need to narrow down what pixel data you want to take and how to interpet that into sound.
