Young’s imagination and creativity in his work are inspiring. I loved his project about possible music where he played with physical modeling. I thought it was fascinating how he contemplated physical modeling’s ability to resurrect history. Although Young was interested in the historical aspect of physical modeling decided for his project to build instruments that are impossible to make in the real world.

It was also interesting to see the character and vibrancy in Young’s work. Research and art came together perfectly in his work. I think his sound in combination with animation video is unique in the silliness he puts into it to address serious topics.

I really liked the idea of Young’s “talking to myself” to flesh out ideas.
