Currently, I have created a max patch that takes a still image you upload and scans the RGB data, and then sonifies the color data. Unfortunately, there wasn’t a lot of data from an image I could take and use, but the color data felt like the most obvious answer. I’m pretty satisfied with my patch. I’ve started playing around with my patch by inserting pictures of animals I saw at the farm. I intend to incorporate these sounds into a composition along with the sounds I recorded here. I think when I’m finished with my composition I might edit the sound to the jit. window because I quite like the way it looks when scanning the pictures.
