I wasn’t sure what to expect from Otherworld as I had never done VR previously in my life, however, it was a great experience. At first, it was a bit disorienting being put in a pod alone and not being able to see my actual experiences. Otherworld definitely did a good job at full immersion. I was surprised by the cold air blowing on you by little fans in the pod. I actually think the fans added another element to the experience. I had a lot of fun in the world picking up animals, and playing planting games. Of course, I played games that were the total opposite too when I spent a lot of time playing a shooting/zombie game. At first, I was horrified by the zombie game because it felt so real. There were many moments when I felt panicky and a zombie was about to bit me that I started to physically run and sort of bump into the walls around me. After a while, I got used to the VR feeling but left a bit nauseous.
