While editing I have been feeling like I want to add subtle little sounds to the environment of the game. I really wanted to add a spider sound because the game features little spiders crawling on the ground throughout the gameplay. I decided to record on my zoom some sounds of me gently crumbling leaves and twigs. I processed these sounds a bit and added them to the game for the spider. I decided to pan the sounds of the spider a bit as they crawl across the screen. I also recorded some birds and then added them to the places in the game where shadows of birds fly overhead. I’m not sure that I got the perfect bird sounds, but I would be interested to see what the class thinks when I present.

I also finally added the Bee sound pitched at B when the bee meets the hive. It is a very subtle difference. I think it’s hardly noticeable, but I don’t necessarily think thats a bad thing. Its significance is more in the fact that Bee’s feel at ease when they shift their tone. It wasn’t meant to be distracting to the player of the game.
