TOO BEE is an environmental game in which the player takes on the character of a bee traveling through a barren desert. It is only when the bee stumbles upon a flower that it can pollinate and slowly transform the dessert into beautiful greenery.
The majority of sounds that are required for this game are atmospheric sounds or natural sounds such as wind, which may be able to be captured through field recordings. The sounds of a park may fit well with the green atmosphere that the Bee character will explore. One of the most important sonic aspects of the game is the Bee character. I recorded the buzzing of an electric shaver and am hoping to use processing such as pitch shift to mimick a bee sound. Otherwise, it seems like I may be able to use a synth to create certain game sounds such as the sound when the bee collects a petal, or when the bee successfully pollinates a pulse-like sound will be needed.
