I was interested in Ledesma’s involvement in residencies, gallery installations, and the synth library. I love that the synth library allows access to synths with instructor time as well. I think that’s a nice way to open a space for learning and support growing artists.

It was interesting to hear about the ghostship fire where performers at the venue died due to the fire in relation to the image of sound art. Ledesma mentioned that several performers’ parents were scared of their children continuing their work afterward.

I am curious to hear more about Ledesma’s individual projects, sometimes I felt she rushed through them and I couldn’t get a good picture.
